Of course JKR has the legal right to say whatever she wants about anything, but as a internationally famous celebrity and billionaire she has huge power and thus huge responsibility. Of course she will get backlash when she says something harmful, especially when it is trivially wrong like here.

I'm not sure why you have continued to push this GRA reform angle. Firstly trans women have always used the women's toilets, there's been demonstrably no issue with that, therefore having an issue with that is irrational prejudice. I don't see why we can't call it that when that is what it is? But secondly, again, GRA reform is nothing to do with women's spaces, as I pointed out in the article.

I didn't bring up clownfish, she did. She made a comment about them and sexual dimorphism that is false and I pointed out why.

I am not an expert in biology and have never claimed to be. I am arguing that we should defer to the experts, which is the opposite of what GC people are arguing.

Treating sex as a strict binary is essential in many areas of medicine

This is straight up false. In all science you sometimes use cruder and simpler models of reality to make quick and simple predictions, but it is never required and a better model always gives better results.

The presence of double X in females is largely responsible for better immunity generally

So then it is XX that makes someone more likely to be resistant. Not all cis women are XX and not all people who will have got lucky will be XX. This is an argument against treating sex as a strict binary as clearly there will be XX people who did not get lucky, and treating them as though they did get lucky would be wrong. But again, this isn't the only factor, and it would be ridiculous to assert that it was.

In your reply here at one point you have argued that sex is determined by gametes and another by chromosomes. It’s clear that these are competing definitions with some people being classed differently depending on which of the two definitions you pick.

DSDs confirm the sexual binary, a fact stated many times over by the developmental biologists working in the field, with published work and excellent credentials. All of whom you have ignored.

“Exceptions prove the rule” isn’t a valid argument. I haven’t ignored any individual scientists. As I said I am not an expert. I am just deferring to the scientific consensus, and that will of course include some dissenting opinions.
